Japan Box Family Event
Kick-start the new year by exploring the wonderful, magical and unique aspects of Japanese culture. We know how much families loved our first Japan box (which focused on theatre, karate and anime) so Ellen, Keris, Andy and Kanae have worked together to bring our community a brand new Japan box (which focuses on magic folklore and popular culture- street food, sushi and games)
Workshop for Parents and Carers in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
Parent Carer Participation Wirral (PCPW) are holding another free in-person workshop for parents and carers in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) on Monday 5th February, 10am-1pm, at Carrbridge Centre.
The workshop will be delivered by Master Key Partnership LLP and will cover:
· Overview of the demand avoidant presentation
· Strategies which can be used to increase engagement and support children and young people when overwhelmed
This course is suitable for parents/carers of children and young people of all ages.

This workshop focuses on emotional literacy, talking about feelings, our bodies repsonse and knowing that it’s OK to feel them all!
Positivity Club sessions are suitable for children aged 3-11 years, all workshops are child-led and creative in a low pressure environment.
Comics Youth CIC’s ‘Turn the Page’ for young people aged 16-25
Comics Youth is a youth led organisation focused on delivering comics-based literacy, publishing, and wellbeing projects to children and young people aged 8 – 25 who are subject to extreme marginalisation. Our mission is to provide creative opportunities for marginalised young people to speak truth to power and have their voices heard by creating a variety of digital and physical publications about salient community and lived experience issues.
Belvidere Centre - Drop in Café
Belvidere Centre is a community centre originally built for young disabled children, their friends and family. We have a HAF funded play scheme, an after school club , a games night for adults with additional needs and two daytime café sessions for adults supported by their support workers. We are a training venue and offer family support courses.

Stick ‘n’ Step provide free, weekly sessions for children from 6 months up to 25 who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, or who are showing signs & symptoms and are still awaiting a diagnosis.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Prince's Trust Programme
The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12-week course run at fire stations across Merseyside for young people aged 16 to 25 who are not in employment or education.
Quilt Stitch Social
Community sewing group we specialise in teaching adults with additional needs. If staying all day - bring packed lunch We provide teas and coffees all day for a small voluntary donation. All abilities welcome. We start with basic sewing on a sewing machine and aim to make a patchwork quilt… our Christmas projects will be starting soon, the Fridays are a commitment.
