Last Saturday the Local Offer met up with a fantastic group of Wirral Childminders at an event held at the Village Hotel in Bromborough.
Trainers from Hempsalls and Action for Children presented on ‘Getting ready for September 2018 and a reflection on the delivery of the 30 hours Childcare initiative across Wirral’.
It was a good opportunity to make Childminders aware of the Local Offer and the Children & Young Person’s Disability Register. Many of them have young children with SEND in their care and were pleased to learn about the support available to them, the families that employ them and the little people they care for. They have kindly invited the Local Offer to their next meeting at Seacombe Children’s Centre to further spread the word.
