In response to the National lockdown, all of our short courses and workshops are now available to join online. We use Microsoft Teams to deliver online. When you book a place on a course we will send you details of how to download the App on to your phone, tablet or laptop; your tutor will invite you to a Teams meeting so your learning can start.
And what’s more, we have a laptop loan scheme for learners which includes connectivity. You can loan the laptop for the whole time you are on the course, once your course has finished you must return the laptop.
For more information about our remote learning offer and guidelines for online learning please see the “online learning” section on our website. Many of our courses are free to everyone, but some have a fee.
For courses with a fee. If you are on an income based benefit or have a personal income of below £18,135 per year, there will be no cost for the course. You will simply need to provide proof of benefit to your tutor, when you enrol.
For those not on income based benefits, fees vary depending on length. Most 10 week courses are £149 (additional cost for a registration fee for qualification courses). Most 5 week courses are £30. You must be aged 19 or over.
