Since September, Katy Bird (Head of SEND) and her team have been visiting local schools and other venues to meet with parents, carers and stakeholders. This has given us the opportunity to share information on services and progress, and more importantly to hear from people about their experiences and those of their children and family.
In May we decided to keep a record of these Open Sessions so that people who are not able to attend can still find out about what happened, keep informed of changes, and to find out about the issues being raised by other parents and carers. These are brief notes as we respect that sometimes attendees share information which is personal to them or their loved one, but we will try to capture what the issues are.
