We know that there are children and young people on Wirral who have severe difficulty in attending school due to emotional reasons. This can lead to long periods of time away from school or difficulties engaging within school. We are working with PCPW and other Wirral services to establish a project to support Emotionally Based School Avoidance (or EBSA) which we hope to run in the new school year,
We know that EBSA can have a big impact on families too, and so are keen to hear from parent / carers about their experiences and to gather views about what could be done differently to support children, young people, families and school staff who are affected by EBSA.
It would be really helpful if you could complete an online survey to help us develop the project. There’s an information sheet which tells you more about us, about what you are consenting to and about how we’ll use your responses. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE ANONYMISED, so your information / personal data and circumstances cannot be identified.
Please read the information sheet first, before clicking on this link to complete the survey https://forms.office.com/e/i6443J6xrm

We will close the survey at the end of term on 20 July 2023.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and support the EBSA project
