What if someone can't access the internet?

If you don’t have access to the internet there are various venues across Wirral were you can access a computer and the internet for low or no cost.
Information can be found on wirralwell.org, this includes opening times, address and contact details. Some venues provide assistance too if you need some additional support.
To ensure that venues are able to support specifically with Wirral’s Local Offer, staff and volunteers from the following places will be offered training to help people find the relevant information they need on the Local Offer:

  • School staff
  • Early Years Setting Staff
  • College Staff
  • Libraries
  • Job Centre Plus Staff
  • Social Workers
  • One Stop Shops
  • Health Professionals
  • Voluntary Sector Providers

We are currently working with a group of young people from Creative Youth Development on a project to create a leaflet that gives more information about the Local Offer than the post cards we have previously distributed. The post cards do not have a telephone number on that people can all for support. We will ensure that the leaflet does have this information on so people can easily find out where they can access the internet.
