The school follows the National Curriculum where it is deemed appropriate and personalises timetables for all pupils.

Pupils are supported in very small class sizes and the curriculum is tailored to meet their needs and abilities.  Their individual curriculum is designed to take each individual pupils own educational needs into account and maximise their opportunities for success.  Pupils can enjoy a wide range of learning opportunities with a range of qualifications including GCSE’s and BTEC.

The schools therapeutic offer includes solution focus brief therapy with trained key workers, an educational psychologist, speech and language therapist, lego therapy and where needed occupational therapy.  The focus of the therapeutic support is to help the pupils to reach their potential and give them the best opportunities to develop skills for adulthood.  Pupils may be identified as benefiting from assessment with one of our therapists as early as during their transition induction period.
