Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Fund
Disabled Children aged 10-16
Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Fund has been providing a week long camp for disabled children for over 50 years.
The charity is funded by our own volunteers, who are committed to providing a free holiday for children who need our support.
Activities include sports, fun and games in camp and days out to the zoo and cinema. We pride ourselves on trying to help disabled children experience new exciting activities too and have taken children climbing and even on flying lessons!
We are inspected by Ofsted and the quality of our care, and the experience of the children we care for is ‘Excellent’.
We are open to applications from children with physical conditions aged 10-16. Typically we offer 30 free places per year, depending on funding.
We would also welcome offers of voluntary support from people with care experience, or hoping to build their experience.
