Greenbank College offers an individualised work related Study Programme for young people aged over 16 and under 19 on 31 August (or aged up to 25 if you have an Education Health and Care (EHC) Plan) in a small, supportive, fully accessible environment. Study Programme is a personalised learning programme which supports personal development and helps students to achieve their goals for work and life.
The programme starts at Entry Level and focuses on the student’s aspirations for their future and includes a work-related learning and work experience. Choose from:
– Art, Design & Textiles
– Business & Administration
– Catering & Hospitality
– Customer Service
– Exercise, Fitness & Sport
– Hairdressing
– Health & Social Care
– Horticulture
– Information Technology (IT)
If a person is not quite ready for a full qualification, a non-accredited Skills Builder course will be offered to help develop independence, confidence and skills for daily living.
The programme also includes English and Maths (Communication and Calculation if students haven’t already achieved at level 2), skills and Work Experience. The programme offer includes enrichment sessions such as cooking, sport and fitness, games (in the fully accessible Greenbank Sports Academy), art and music.
