Derwen College is an out of area specialist independent post-16 provider, for young people aged between 16 and 25 years old. Its main campus is based in Shropshire.
Derwen College provides a rich learning environment for young people with many conditions including: learning and physical disabilities, ASD, medical needs and challenging behaviour. We offer residential and day placements, a post-college living and work programme, apprenticeships and supported internships. You will have the opportunity to learn in real work environments. We provide a wide range of services to the public including restaurants, garden centre, shops, a food centre, a print centre and an art gallery. By working in these areas, you will gain the skills you need for the world beyond college.
