Our Early Years SEND Manager Penny has shared the fantastic news that Birkenhead based Essential Early Years have just received national recognition for the amazing work they do. Congratulations!
This private day nursery and pre-school for children with special needs aged from 2-5 years only opened its doors in Grange Road West during the Autumn of 2020 and has already been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted inspectors in November 2022 and won two of the four categories they were shortlisted for in this year’s NDNA (National Day Nursery Association) awards held on the 9th June.
In addition to the two awards they won they also received a Silver Award – Early Years Team of the Year for their outstanding commitment to changing the lives of the children they work with everyday.
The success they have achieved now sees them shortlisted to win one of just 16 Gold awards which will be announced later this year. We’re sending lots of luck to Lynnette Bonner and her team, fingers crossed!
