School admissions
All school admissions for Foundation 1 are completed by each individual school, please contact your preferred school for more information.
All school admissions either for Foundation 2 or Year 7 in secondary school can be made online.
The closing date for applications for primary school places in September 2018 will be 15 January 2018. After this date only paper application forms will be accepted.
The closing date for applications for secondary school places in September 2018 is 31 October 2017.
Apply for a transfer to a Wirral Primary or Secondary School
Admission to Wirral schools is co-ordinated by the council. Schools cannot offer places directly. Parents are advised to discuss the reason for requesting a transfer with their current school prior to making an application.

Rainbows is for all girls aged 5 to 7
Rainbows is exciting, messy, friendly and a lot of fun! It’s a group for girls aged five to seven
Brownies is for all girls aged 7 to 11
For girls aged seven to ten – being a Brownie is an adventurous journey that girls take with their friends
Girls in Brownies have incredible experiences together, make brilliant friends and discover the world around them. Every time they meet up, groups of Brownies learn new skills and take on challenges as they work out what they want to be and do in the future.

Beavers aged between 6-8 years
Beavers are our youngest members, and generally meet for an hour per week. They enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; being introduced to outdoor activities, having the opportunity to be creative, explore their local community and experience the excitement of a Beaver Scout Sleepover with their friends.
Cubs aged between 8 -10 years
For Cubs, excitement and adventure are key. Their programme offers a huge variety of activities surrounding areas of fitness, global and beliefs; whilst allowing them to be creative and get involved in their local communities. Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventurous activities, as well as camps and residential experiences.
