Event: Wirral Borough Council Co-production Opportunities Event
When: Friday 31st March, 10am – 12pm
Where: The Lauries, 142 Claughton Rd, Birkenhead CH41 6EY
In February 2023 a Joint Commissioning Survey was sent out to Parents/Carers of Children and Young People in Wirral. The results of the survey were to assist the SEND Joint Commissioning Forum to prioritise service reviews, and to involve Parents/Carers in further Joint Commissioning surveys and focus groups. As you have provided contact details offering to be further involved, we would like to invite you to an event focused on co-production which includes joint commissioning or other opportunities.
We are delighted to invite you to attend this free 2 hour session, hosted by Wirral Borough Council, where we aim to increase understanding of co-production, launch our co-production charter (which was, in itself, co-produced with key stakeholders), and give you the opportunity to learn more about co-production opportunities within the council. We believe you have expressed an interest in being involved with some council projects a while ago and so wanted to make sure you received a direct invitation from the council to attend this session if you would like to.
We define co-production as –
‘Children, young people, parents, carers and services work together as equals to make a change from the beginning.
Being equal means that everybody’s experiences, voices and ideas have the same value.
All partners work together to identify what needs to change or be developed and how it should be done.’
We would value your input from the beginning of some key projects to help shape the future of Wirral. For more information, and to register for the event please click the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/co-production-opportunities-event-tickets-594598990587
